Corcubión Artistic-historic site
The municipality of Corcubión is situated in the extreme west of the Province of A Coruña (Galicia), in the uppermost part of the RíasBaixas, and forming part of the Costa da Morte.
The Ría de Corcubión, where the mythical Cape of Fisterra, the highest of the RíasBaixas, is located, has the characteristics of the lower rías, distinct from those of the coast further north. So this is a land of transition in harmony between the calm of the RíasBaixas and the rougher waters and more barren landscape of the Costa da Morte.
