Mazaricos prepares the XX Festa do Bolo do Pote with Gloria´s Soup
The soup is the emblematic in the Galician gastronomy. The poet Rosalía de Castro named it in any of her poems. But no only it speaks of soup, also talk about bread of chichón. I did a broth of groria/that me soupo that wool sea,/ did a bollo of the chichón/ that was thing to envy? Or also ?What girl/in the bank of the fonde/sings will give you/bollitos of the chichón?.
The Foundation Rosalía de Castro and the Museum of the poetisa, organise a particular act, called Glorys Soup with which remember it in the day of his birth, on 24 February. A delegation of the housewives of Mazaricos will approach to the ancient house of the poet to elaborate there, at the same time that the cook Pepe Solla, the "bollo of the chichón".
