Sabadelle Beach

Sabadelle Beach

Between Traba and Camelle, in the parish of Carantoña, lies the beach of Sabadelle, one of the spots where Vimianzo meets the sea. This old whaling port has been occupied by Basque fishermen since the XIII century, and later by Norwegian fishermen. Nowadays it is a small beach surrounding by cliffs in a wild setting, with small streams running through the woods into the sea. In the surrounding area you can still find the ruins of a medieval village.
