Touristic Market of Fisterra

Designed by the architects Creus y Carrasco and inaugurated in 2008, it is an example of coexistence between the activities of a working fish auction and tourism. It is the first fish market designed to accommodate tourism and visitors can watch the tradition fish auctions and other activities. The area where the auction takes place and the other areas for offloading, sale and preparation of the catch are separated from another area with information panels explaining about the species caught in the area and a permanent exhibition with a scale model of the coast.
