33º FIOT in Carballo
From 26 September to 31 October 2024, the 33rd edition of the International Autumn Theatre Festival (FIOT) will be held in Carballo under the slogan "Agora é Sempre" (Now is Forever).
Leading playwrights and directors will participate in this edition of FIOT in Carballo. Five weeks of theatre in street and non-conventional spaces in the municipality of Carballo (A Coruña), with a programme open to all audiences, formats and sensibilities.

Orionid Star Shower 2024
The meteor shower takes place from 2 October to 7 November, but the best night to photograph it is between 21 and 22 October. The peak is on 22 October at 05:45 UTC with 20 meteors per hour.
At this time the moon phase is 71.4%, so the conditions for enjoying it are not very good (there is a moon). This meteor shower is visible from both hemispheres.
Presentation of the book O Poeta da Terra, in Baio
On 26 October at 5 p.m., the short autobiography of the poet Enrique Labarta Pose "O Poeta da Terra" will be presented in the auditorium of Baio (Zas).
The event will be attended by Jorge Mira Pérez, as president of the Enrique Labarta Pose Commission; Enrique Mauricio and Carlos Taboada, authors of the book; and Manuel Muíño, Mayor of Zas. The event will be guided by Tania Carreira, a technician from the Zas Town Council.
