These falls are composed of seven small cascades on the Pedrafigueira River. They are surrounded by oak forests so it is especially nice to visit in the summer as the trees create a small microclimate.

The falls are accessed by a small path that starts close to the Lamas de Castelo High School.

A good reference point is O Bico do Santo (a stone cross) as the falls are close by.
