Costa da Morte carries out the presence of the Diputación de A Coruña in MIMOC
The Deputation of A Coruña collaborates and participates in the II International Fair of the world of Ocio-Mimoc 2019 with its own space and collaboration with the municipalities of the Costa da Morte that star in a broad program of activities that will be developed along the fair that runs until Sunday 17 of February.
The deputy of Tourism and Patrimony, Xosé Regueira, participated in the inaugural acts and the activities that open the event in which, by the hand of the County Council of A Coruña, the municipalities of Camariñas and Carballo opened the program.
From Friday to Sunday, the City Council of Camariñas offers a live demonstration of lace with two palilleras, accompanied by an exhibitor with some of the most representative works.
The project "Collapsing walls with paint" of the municipality of Carballo arrived at Mimoc this afternoon Friday with the participation of the muralist Nana who painted on one of the board one of his magnificent works. In addition, the smallest ones have participated in this illustrative activity, with the support of the own painter. On Sunday, the murals will return to the MIMOC program this time with artist Mou.
The Ecomuseo Forno del Forte of Buño completed the offer from Friday afternoon with a demonstration of the pottery through work with the lathe and other materials. On Saturday, the City Council of Laxe will offer a workshop for childrens percussion at 17:00 a.m. to prepare maracas with recycled materials.
The municipalities of Ponteceso and Vimianzo will participate in the third day of the shows program. The crafts of the redevelopers of Ponteceso will show their work throughout Sunday and, in the afternoon, from Vimianzo, a representation of the assault on the Castle, a journey to the past, the medieval world with the irmandiños and their struggle with the lords of the castle will arrive in A Coruña.
