Fisterra Lighthouse
One of Galicias most emblematic and well-known lighthouses. Built in 1853, it a reference point for sailors around the world and is one of the most visited places in Galicia. Built on the rocks of Cabo Fisterra at 138 m above sea level, the light has a range of 57 km (31 nautical miles). The siren (known as the "Cow of Fisterra") was the first to be installed in Spain, in 1889.
