Lariño Lighthouse
Located on a rocky outcrop known as Punta Insua, to the north of Lariño beach.
It was built to ensure safe navigation after various shipwrecks.It was built between 1913 and 1921. Its shape is basically rectangular with two small wings on the main facade.
This architectural element, together with its setting on Punta Insua and between two beaches, makes this a most picturesque part of the coast.
It is a wonderful viewpoint of the coast and you can see Fisterra and the entire coast from the beach at Simpron (Lira) all the way to the port of Ancaradoiro and the slopes of Monte Louro (Muros).
