Laxe beach
Right on the doorstep of the houses, the large beach of Laxe, nestled inside the ría, is famous for its calm, clear waters and its fine, white sand. The beach is 1.32 km long and 50 m wide. And as it is right in the centre of Villa de Laxe it has all the facilities of an urban beach: parking for cars, numerous showers along the beachfront, buses, lifeguards, walkways, disability access ramps, a promenade, daily cleaning, Red Cross, sea condition notices, cafes, bars and restaurants, etc., all just a few steps from the sand.
